Two more Days of the open event

I visited the Harrobeer event near crapstone in Devon and was great. Good to see the progress of the swhag group and their commitment to the project. Even in one of the hottest days in the year they where faithefully dressed for re-inactments. The other great thing was how they involved the young people that visited them. This included a turn on the spitfire simulator, getting in the spitfire 'emottions' simulator, to the electric 'go Round the Pole', demonstrated by an ex RAF pilot. The spitfire simulator flypast was breath taking.

For those that might find it difficult to find, GOTO Knightstone Tearooms, Crapstone Road Yelverton, Nr Plymouth Devon. You can even have a traditional devon cream or cold ice cream as refreshment.

Best wishes to the http://www.swhag.com/ and here are some pictures (snaps) of the event on Saturday.
